Wilfried Zaha Joins Turkish Super Lig Giants Galatasaray

Former Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha is set to join Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray after his contract at Crystal Palace came to an end.

The 30-year-old has signed a three-year contract at his new club.

Galatasaray were crowned Champions of the Turkish Super Lig last season for the 23rd time after the league was founded in 1959, 64 years ago.

The Turkish side have offered the former Premier League forward a £2 million signing-on fee with an additional £3.76 million per season.

After spending most of his career at Selhurst Park, he made a total of 458 appearances for the club, scoring 90 goals and managing 76 assists, alongside wearing the captain’s armband on multiple occasions.

Zaha recently posted a farewell message to the public after the announcement.

“I have been blessed to play in front of you and call you family from the day you accepted me. From the bottom of my heart, I’m forever grateful.”
